Q: Does Hawkeye provide ring-bearing services in the Miami area?
A: Yes. Services are also available in the areas of Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, and Jupiter.
Q: Which bird would you recommend for outdoor services?
A: Hawkeye utilizes Harris’s hawks for outdoor wedding services. This species is social and highly adaptable to crowded venues where other species are more prone to stress.
Q: How does ring delivery typically work? Will the bird fly to my hand?
A: The hawk will fly to a gloved hand. We do ask that the person who will be catching the bird spends a few minutes practicing with them before the ceremony.
Q: Is a rehearsal or venue inspection required?
A: No rehearsal or inspection required. Pictures of the wedding venue will do.
Q: What is the estimated pricing, including travel?
A: $1500 is the base price including travel.
Q: What is included? What about photographs and guest meet-and-greets?
A: Hawkeye will spend 3 hours onsite with photographs and guest meet-and-greets included.
Q: Do you have any flight path requirements?
A: We do ask that there are no overhead fans running while the bird is in the air. Any pyrotechnics, loud music, or flashing lights may also need to be switched off during flight.
Q: What is your weather and cancellation policy?
A: We allow for a full refund if cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.
Q: Do you recommend using replica rings or real wedding bands?
A: You are always welcome to use replica rings for the delivery if you prefer, but it is not required.
